Camp Cristina is a 65 acre outdoor center which hosts a traditional co-ed day camp for rising 1st through 10th graders. The natural world provides an almost “fool-proof” place to create new memories, gain a new vocabulary of experiences, and new friends to share them with. Camp Cristina is more than an outdoor experience. We want to build friendships and self-confidence throughout the summer that will last a lifetime. Camp provides a place where campers feel accepted, trusted, and supported, which enables them to trust and support themselves and others. In every aspect of summer camp, we promote our character values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, and Faith.
Traditional Day Camp
Traditional day camp is a safe environment for campers to experience the outdoors. Our high-quality and well-trained staff will act as role models while campers increase self-respect through skill developing activities. Campers will make new and better friends while having fun in the activities they select.
Camp Cristina gives diverse choices for each camper when it comes to activities. At the beginning of each week, campers will sign up for land activities to participate in during that week. Our signature activities include horseback riding, canoeing / kayaking, archery / bb guns, rock climbing, high ropes, swimming, hiking, orienteering, disc golf, sports and more.
Our teen camps build leadership, have physical challenges, and develop character in young adults. There are three different camps to choose from: traditional day camp, LIT, and Extreme Teen.
C.I.T. (Counselor in Training)
The C.I.T. program is a weekly leadership development program specifically designed for campers who are ready to take their leadership abilities to the next level. Activities include teambuilding, fundraising, goal setting, basic counselor training, skill builders, group initiatives, mentoring, planning of events, trips, and swimming.
EPIC - Encouraging People to Impact the Community
EPIC is a physically challenging camp. Adventurers will work together to complete challenges, games, and activities. Some activities may include paintball, archery, high ropes, teambuilding, kayaking, and swimming
2012 brings new adventures to day camps Camp Cristina. We are thrilled to offer specialty camps that focus on a specific skill while enjoying the traditions of camp. Each camp will spend half of the day concentrating on their special skill and the other half of the day will be enjoyed experiencing traditional camp!
